My grandparents live together..

just the two of them in their humble house in Bulacan.

My lolo is weak, he had stroke and now he is recovering from it. From time to time, their helper would go to their house help them with his therapy.

Even though they're both old, they take care of each other.

Last week, its was dark, no one was outside their house. My lola went outside to close the gate. Because it rained, the floor was slippery. She slipped down the stairs. She heard her right arm crack. She fell down really hard. She wasn't able to move. No one was to be seen outside. Who was there to help? My lolo saw everything. He wasn't able to move nor talk. He reached for his cellphone. Even with bad eyesight, he tried his best to seek for help.

Lolo texted my mom. The message was unclear. But it was obvious that something bad happened to my lola. My grandparents were in Bulacan at that time. We (my mom) are in Manila. So my mom texted my lola's neighbors. Then they discovered the scene.

My lola was immobile. Not able to move, but she could talk. None of the neighbors had a car. They just called an ambulance.But the nearest Hospital (na matino) was located near Manila. So my mom and dad drove to my lola's house. From manila to bulacan, it took them 2 hours to arrive.

Thank God my lola's still alive. She broke her bones in her right arm. We cant leave my lolo and lola alone, now that they're both injured. We brought them to our house in Manila. My parents are too stubborn to get a house nurse. (and ayaw din nina lolo eh..*sigh*) so..

Now I'm taking good care of them both. 24 hours, i did not leave by their side. But when I was taking care of my lola..she also took good care of me. Cause at that time, i was sick. XD But now I'm okay.

I feel like im taking care to two babies..two over grown babies. I am taller than my lola so its easy for me to carry and support her around the house when she wants to move..But my lolo is a 6 footer. He's so tall and heavy, we need 3 people to support him. My lola can feed herself, so when we eat, i am the one who feeds my lolo. He's like a baby.

They also get tantrums.

*sigh*

Anyway, it's really fun to take care of people you love.

My yaya's busy with the house that's why I'm the one who takes care of them.My brother still goes to school. My parents still working..

Since now I'm free..I'll give them my time this sembreak.

I hope they'll get better.

Well, here goes my sem break.
